OSHA Citations Carry $71,200 in Fine

A Texas-based cement manufacturing company's alleged failure to protect workers from safety and health hazards at a Massachusetts cement products plant resulted in 30 citations and penalties of $71,200 from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Pavestone received for 18 citations for alleged serious violations, three citations for alleged repeat violations and nine citations for alleged other-than-serious violations of safety and health standards at its Middleboro plant.
