Missouri lawmakers must decide by Friday evening if the state's 12 most recently appointed administrative law judges will get to keep their jobs.
The decision will be made during budget negotiations, which are happening all week, the Kansas City Star reports. Lawmakers will come together to discuss House and Senate versions of the 17 appropriations bills that will soon become Missouri's $27 billion budget. They must deliver that budget to the executive branch by 6 p.m. Friday.
