MI: Home Ins Liquidation Triggers MPCGA Liability

On June 13, a liquidation order was issued in New Hampshire regarding Home Insurance Company triggering the Michigan Property & Casualty Guaranty Association (MPCGA) to assume liability for these claims. The MPCGA is in the process of receiving the claim files from the third party administrators who handled the claims for Home. The MPCGA is requesting that contested claims be adjourned for 90 days in order to allow the staff to review and set up the files for proper handling.
