WCB to Discuss Possible Translation Rules at February Meeting

Oregon’s Workers’ Compensation Board will discuss requests to draft rules regarding the review of evidence submitted during hearings in languages other than English and providing notices of certain claims documents available in other languages, during a Feb. 15 meeting in Salem. The Access to Justice Committee of the Oregon State Bar asked the board to consider regulatory changes to assist injured workers who aren’t proficient in English.
