A Connecticut man will be arraigned Thursday on charges that he fraudulently received workers' compensation benefits while operating a furniture-moving business.
The state attorney's office in Stamford/Norwalk announced the arrest of Alexander Jordan, 40, of Stamford, Conn. According to the arrest warrant affidavit, the Workers' Compensation Fraud Control Bureau in the Office of the Chief State's Attorney received an anonymous complaint in June 2004 stemming from the March 6, 2004, work-related injury Jordan reported while employed by Operations Management International of Stamford.
