N.J. Provides for Electronic Producer Renewal

The New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance (DOBI) has established a system for the renewal of appointments for producers and agencies through the National Insurance Producer Registry.The regulations require that appointment notifications be renewed by May 1 for all active appointments on record with the agency as of April 1.DOBI said all renewals must be made electronically through the registry, which is maintained by affiliate of the National Association of insurance Commissioners.
