Court Upholds Partial Summary Judgment for Worker Injured by Falling Rebar

A New York appellate court ruled that an injured construction worker was entitled to partial summary judgment on the issue of liability for his injuries from being struck by a falling load of rebar, and that he can proceed with one of his two other theories of liability for the accident. Case: Flowers v. Harborcenter Development, No. 1148 CA 17-00520, 11/17/2017, published. Facts: David Flowers suffered injuries while moving a bundle of steel rebar at a construction site.
