Amputation Hazards Lead to $110K in Fines Against Metal Stamping Co.

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration is proposing $110,110 in penalties against an Illinois metal stamping company that allowed machines to operate without safety guards. OSHA issued citations for seven repeat, six serious and four other-than-serious safety violations to D&D Manufacturing in Bolingbrook on March 30, after inspecting the plant the previous October.
