July marked the first month that the Kentucky Personnel Cabinet's Return-to-Work Program saw more workers returning to modified-duty positions than recovering at home, Gov. Matt Bevin's office announced.
The program aims to get state employees back to work faster. It is run by Melissa Clay and Jeffrey Hockensmith, the two employees of the state Office of Employee Relations' return-to-work branch, and Donna Shelton, the state's Americans with Disabilities Act benefit coordinator.
