Arkansas has finalized its workers’ compensation drug formulary and will become the first state to adopt one without evidence-based treatment guidelines, officials said Monday.
The formulary is effective July 1 for new claims on that date and afterward, and does not address legacy claims. There are no plans to adopt treatment guidelines, a top regulator told WorkCompCentral on Monday.
