Division Launching $8M Electronic Claims Management System in Fall

The Kansas Workers Compensation Division is on schedule for a Halloween 2018 launch of an $8 million electronic claims management system that the project manager says will pay for itself within 10 years. Dubbed OSCAR, for Online System for Claims Administration Research/Regulation, the system will improve customer service by allowing around-the-clock computer access to all case information, said David Sprick, project director.
