Bill Requiring Small-Business Owner on SCIF Board Up for Third Vote in Senate

The California Senate on Monday was considering a bill that would require the governor to appoint a small-business owner to serve on the State Compensation Insurance Fund board of directors. Although the Legislature’s website indicates the Senate passed Assembly Bill 61 on June 13, the Daily File notes that the measure was on the Senate’s consent calendar for Monday.
