A father and son who run a farm in southwestern Idaho have been charged with violating the state’s farm labor contractor-licensing law for allegedly failing to pay two of their workers last year, the state’s Department of Labor reported.The labor department said Angel Alba Sr. and his son, Angel Alba Jr., did not obtain a mandatory farm labor contractor bond or workers’ compensation insurance, and did not pay state, federal or Social Security taxes on the wages that two workers claim they are owed.
