The Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau posted to its website a spreadsheet including data on claim costs in California doing back to 2003.
The spreadsheet includes pages showing losses by injury type, exposure by North American Industry Classification System sector and experience by premium range.
Information in the spreadsheet covers policy years 2003 through 2015. The data also shows experience by policy at the various reporting levels – the first report level is 18 months after policy inception, with the second and subsequent reports every year thereafter.
