A physician working at a South Florida pain clinic pleaded guilty last week to conspiring to distribute large amounts of the opioid painkiller oxycodone without a legitimate purpose and money laundering as part of an ongoing pill-mill probe by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.U.S. Attorney Wilfredo A. Ferrer said in a news release that Dr. Scott Becker, 54, of Pembroke Pines, Fla., faces a maximum of 15 years in federal prison on both charges.Becker worked at All Pain Management in Dania Beach, Fla.
