The number of workplace deaths in Wyoming decreased by 8.1% in 2015, the state reported.
Thirty-four people died on the job in Wyoming in 2015. Thirty-seven had died the year before.
The deaths occurred in the following industries, according to the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services' Research and Planning section:
Transportation and material moving: 9.
Construction and extraction: 7.
Other: 6.
Agriculture: 4.
Building and ground cleaning: 3.
Farming, fishing and forestry: 3.
Food service: 1.
