New Fee Schedules Published

The Connecticut Workers' Compensation Commission has published its 2018 fee schedule for hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers, the commission chairman announced. 

Published by Optum360, the schedule includes a link to Medicare’s PC Pricer tool and instructions for calculating inpatient reimbursement. It also includes wage-index groups and corresponding fees for outpatient and surgical centers' reimbursement.

The schedule is now in effect for medical services rendered on or after April 1, 2018, regardless of the date of injury. Ordering information about coding products is available at the Optum website.
