The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation announced Wednesday it will award employers in the state $4 million in workplace safety grants throughout fiscal year 2009.The bureau said $3 million will go to assist employers in purchasing safety equipment and $1 million to help employers develop and support drug-free workplace programs.Ohio, like other states, encourages employers to adopt and enforce drug-free workplace policies.
