Injured workers in Nevada who have to travel for medical appointments will be reimbursed at a rate of 58 cents per mile, the Workers’ Compensation Section of the state’s Division of Industrial Relations announced.
The standard mileage reimbursement rate for transportation costs incurred while using a private vehicle for official state business increased, from 54.5 cents per mile to the current rate of 58 cents per mile, at the start of the year. Injured workers are reimbursed at the same rate under certain circumstances.
