The Division of Workers’ Compensation has set its adjusted payroll requirement for employers of seasonal workers under the provisions of Texas Labor Code 406.162.
The amount for 2018 will be $55,922, based on the state Comptroller of Public Accounts’ calculation that the inflation rate during the period of Sept. 1, 2016, through Aug. 31 was 2.08%.
