An Ohio appellate court ruled that three scaffold safety laws are not applicable to a injured worker's attempt to obtain benefits for violations of specific safety requirements, because the scaffold collapsed as the claimant attempted to erect it. The 10th Appellate District Court of Appeals denied a claimant's request for a writ of mandamus in the published decision of State ex rel Johnson v.
