Commission Can't Retroactively Correct Miscalculation of Peace Officer's Award

The Maryland Court of Special Appeals last week ruled that the state Workers' Compensation Commission lacked authority to retroactively fix a miscalculation of benefits for a public safety officer, even though the employer conceded the mistake.
