A Michigan attorney says he won't be disciplined for his comments accusing an independent medical examiner of lying under oath to downplay the significance of his client's injuries from an automobile accident.
That IME, Dr. Rosalind Griffin, happens to be a member of the state disciplinary board for Michigan lawyers.
Attorney Steven M. Gursten said in blog posts that Griffin, a forensic psychiatrist, is "notorious" among personal injury and workers' compensation practitioners for her "hatchet job tactics."
