Hurricane Triggers Suspension of Certain Insurer Requirements

Gov. Greg Abbott has suspended certain licensing requirements and fees for insurance professionals to focus on recovery from Hurricane Harvey. The action affects all Texas-licensed title agents, escrow officers, life settlement brokers, life settlement providers, premium finance companies and utilization review agents who live in the disaster area.
