An Ohio woman has pleaded guilty to diverting $328,000 in workers' compensation refunds intended for her employer to bank accounts she controlled, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Ohio announced Monday.
Angela Zwick, 46, of Cincinnati, pleaded guilty to wire fraud and filing false tax returns with the Internal Revenue Service in federal court on Monday.
From July 2009 to May 2013, Zwick embezzled funds from Sheakley Group Inc., according to court documents cited by the U.S. Attorney's Office. She filed false tax returns from 2010 to 2012.
