The Alliance of American Insurers is urging Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack (D) to sign legislation that would help to ease workers compensation rate increases in the state. The bill, SF 2190, would overturn the negative impact of the January 2002 Venegas v. IBP decision, which eliminated workers compensation apportionment in Iowa.
