Tax Court Says Workers' Comp Attorney Owes IRS

The U.S. Tax Court on Tuesday ruled that a veteran workers’ compensation attorney owes the Internal Revenue Service some $32,059 in taxes and penalties for having underreported income from his West Covina practice and taking an excessive business loss deduction.
