Two Doctors Suspended for Alleged Drug Offenses

The New York Workers’ Compensation Board this week temporarily suspended the authorization of two physicians to treat injured workers. One is accused of using a fake identification to buy drugs for himself. The other is accused of prescribing drugs to a family member without a valid medical reason. The board on Wednesday suspended Dr. Paul Thomas Biddle of Orchard Park “until further notice,” presumably until criminal charges filed against him are resolved.
