California legislative committees took action on several workers' compensation measures on Wednesday, including Senate President Don Perata's third attempt to double permanent disability benefits.The Senate Labor and Industrial Relations Committee took the following actions:
AB 2091 by Assemblyman Felipe Fuentes, D-Arleta, passed 5-0 and was sent to the Senate floor for a vote. The bill would allow the administrative director of the Division of Workers’ Compensation to set pharmaceutical fees.
