Bayless Sworn In as WCJ

New Mexico Workers’ Compensation Administration Director Darin A. Childers swore in Rachel A. Bayless as the agency’s newest workers’ compensation judge. Bayless takes over for judge Terry Kramer, who retired in March. As of her swearing in Monday, all open cases that were assigned to Kramer are reassigned to Bayless. The WCA said in a statement that parties that have not exercised the one-time right to request a change of judge have 10 days from April 10 to challenge or petition to excuse Bayless.
