West Virginia's new workers' compensation insurer reportedly began meeting Wednesday with the families of the 12 men who died last week after an explosion at the Sago Mine.
The Charleston Daily Mail reported that a claims executive at BrickStreet Mutual planned to meet with the miners' families at their homes through this week, quoting Greg Burton, president and chief executive officer of BrickStreet Mutual Insurance Co.
Andy Casto, BrickStreet's director of claims management, will pay a visit to each family, according to the company.
