The Supreme Judicial Court of Maine last week ruled that an attorney had no viable claims against the individuals and entities involved in prior disciplinary proceedings that resulted in an order suspending him from the practice of law.
Imposition of the suspension has been stayed, so Seth Carey hasn’t had to actually stop performing legal services in Maine, and he is currently running for district attorney of Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties.
