American International Group (AIG) said Monday its aircraft leasing subsidiary has applied $3.95 billion of the proceeds of the sale of secured and unsecured notes to pay down AIG's revolving credit facility with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.AIG and International Lease Finance Corp., the world's largest aircraft leasing firm, said in press release the payment reduces AIG's outstanding loan balance with the New York Fed to about $21 billion.The credit facility is part of the $182.5 billion federal bailout of AIG involving loans from the Federal Reserve Bank and stock p...
