Proposed Rules Would Implement Fee Schedules

The Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry is proposing “good cause” amendments to the rules to implement the independent medical examination, relative value and pharmacy fee schedules. The amendments would involve provisions in Minn. Stat. §176.135 and §62J requiring all providers and payers to use electronic medical billing and payment; statutory changes related to billing and payment of workers’ compensation medical and hospital bills; and wording, formatting and renumbering changes.
