RTW Reports Small Uptick in Quarterly Profit

RTW Inc. on Thursday reported net income of $1.4 million for the second quarter of 2006, campared to $1.3 million for the same period last year. RTW said in a press release that premiums earned in the second quarter totaled $11 million, down 10.9% from $12.4 million for the same period in 2005. Premiums in force at the end of the quarter totaled $51.7 million, compared to $52.9 million at the end of 2005 and $58.5 million on June 30, 2005.
