A St. Cloud, Minn., man has been charged in Stearns County District Court with one count of attempted fraud for trying to obtain workers' compensation benefits he was not entitled to, the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI) has announced.
According to the criminal complaint, Marc Travis Heaton, 22, submitted altered return-to-work forms, which had been completed by the doctor who was treating him for a work-related injury.
