The Idaho Industrial Commission is dropping plans to revise rules regarding the averaging of multiple impairment ratings for the same injury.
A notice filed in the Jan. 3 Idaho Administrative Bulletin said the proposal “would likely force more injured workers toward litigation for resolution of the impairment rating.”
The abandoned proposal published in November addressed situations in which two or more physicians assigned different impairment ratings following an industrial injury.
