Bosley admitted after his license was suspended in 2014 that he merged clients’ funds with his personal accounts and failed to keep adequate records, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

Injured worker Eugene Willingham sued Bosley in May for $25,000 in damages for allegedly failing to properly represent him in a workers’ compensation case he ultimately lost. The lawsuit is pending.

Another worker sued Bosley and his firm, Bosley & Associates, in 2013 for allegedly missing a deadline for filing a workers’ comp claim. The lawsuit eventually was dismissed, the newspaper reported.

A Democrat, Bosley served as mayor from 1993-97.
