Idaho Gov. Brad Little signed a bill making post-traumatic stress disorder a compensable condition for first responders even without a physical injury.
Workers’ compensation laws in Idaho recognize PTSD claims only if there is an accompanying physical injury. That will change in July for claims filed by police, firefighters, emergency medical service providers and dispatchers, under SB 1028.
