Attorney General Claims Drugmaker Increased Comp, Health Care Costs

A lawsuit filed by New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal against Janssen Pharmaceuticals claims the drugmaker deceptively marketed its opioid products, driving up the cost of health insurance and workers’ compensation coverage for state employers. Grewal announced the lawsuit against the Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Tuesday.
