DWC Suspends Younger Drobot and DME Supplier

The California Division of Workers’ Compensation on Wednesday announced that it has suspended two more medical providers from participating in the workers’ comp system: Michael R. Drobot and Steven Howser. Drobot is the son of former Pacific Hospital of Long Beach owner Michael D. Drobot, who pleaded guilty in 2014 to paying kickbacks to doctors and defrauding a federal health care program. The DWC suspended the elder Drobot on April 28.
