In-State Carrier to Write Coverage in Arkansas, Mississippi

Louisiana workers' compensation insurer LCTA Workers' Comp has begun writing coverage in Mississippi and Arkansas, the company announced. LCTA Workers' Comp converted from a self-insurers' fund to a casualty insurance company this year after 26 years in business. It began writing coverage in Mississippi on Oct. 1 and has secured a license to operate in Arkansas.
