The percentage of injured workers who are able to receive initial care within seven days has remained steady for the past several years, at 84%, the Texas Division of Workers' Compensation reported this week.
The figure is up, from 81% in 2005, and from 83% in 2009, according to the division's Research and Evaluation Group, which compiles the numbers annually.
