The Oregon House of Representatives on Wednesday passed bills that would extend the term limits for members of the Management-Labor Advisory Committee and make it easier for public employers to create self-insurance programs.
House Bill 2186, introduced by the House Interim Committee on Business and Labor, would authorize the Department of Consumer and Business Services to certify self-insured programs created through intergovernmental agreements.
