A firm that helped IBM digitize 550-year-old documents for the Vatican Library in Rome is now tasked with doing the same for tens of millions of pages contained in Texas workers’ compensation claim files.
The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation selected Image API as the vendor for its digital initiative and has set a target date of Aug. 31 of next year to make the records accessible to stakeholders. The project price tag is $1,898,645.
