Maine state lawmakers will consider two bills that would place limits on the ability of elected officials to remotely participate in hearings, the Associated Press reported.
Lawmakers in the Legislature’s combined Committee on Judiciary will discuss the bills — LD 1831 and LD 1832 — in a hearing at 1 p.m. today.
Both bills would allow Workers’ Compensation Board officials to continue to participate in hearings remotely.
