DWC Proposing Changes to Fee Schedule, Billing Rules

As part of its annual medical fee schedule update, the Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation is also proposing changes that would require the use of ICD-10 codes and establish reimbursement rules for over-the-counter medications. Proposed rules would adjust several conversion factors that are used to calculate reimbursement rates under the state’s Resource-Based Relative Value Scale fee schedule.
