An Ossian woman has been sentenced to three years of probation for collecting welfare benefits while simultaneously collecting workers’ compensation benefits.
Rose M. Upright, 62, was convicted of fifth-degree welfare fraud, a misdemeanor, and also was ordered to pay restitution of more than $8,600, the Livingston County News reported.
