The owners of a medical clinic in Houston face 27 charges including kickbacks and money laundering in a grand jury indictment accusing them of defrauding the federal employees’ workers’ compensation program out of $7.2 million.
The grand jury indictment handed down Nov. 2 charges Anukul Dass, 31, and his sister Anurag Dass, 46, of filing false claims for payment from the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs. The siblings owned A&A Pain and Wellness Center.
