Board Adds, Removes Dozens From Authorized Provider List

The New York Workers' Compensation Board has removed dozens of medical providers from the list of those authorized to treat injured workers, and added dozens more, according to bulletins issued by the the board. Dr. Pamela Tarkington, an internist in Rochester, resigned her authorization and is prohibited from treating injured workers, the board said. Reports submitted by Tarkington for services rendered prior to Sept. 25, 2018, are valid, but not for any services rendered on or after that date.
